All New York State employers are required to adopt written sexual harassment prevention policies and institute sexual harassment prevention training for all current employees on an annual basis, and all new employees as soon after their start date as possible, and then annually. To support employers, New York State has issued a model policy and training documents, as well as FAQs and additional guidance on the new laws.
